An unfinished Transcription.

Here is a first version of the video transcription. As you see, some words are missing, some are probably not correct, but I tried to guess without looking at the dictionnary, just writing them down according to what I heard.

However, I don't know if it's going to be a good thing to go on with this video, because I think it's not "pertinent" enough...

In the spirit of memorable sidekicks like Donkey, Puss in Boots, and the (???) psychotic penguins, DreamWorks has condue up another lovable character who’s loyal, energetic and a little bit nutty!!

HAMMY
What me to show you what I do with my NUTS?!!! I… WAAANT MYYY COOOOKIES!!! I’m a crazy rabbit squirrel…

Hammy, he’s a squirrel, squirrels are hyperactive. They move fast, they see multi logical place to go.

HAMMY
RIIIIGHT!! I’ve heard some nuts in the woods, and I know where they are, I’ll be right back! BYE!!

And that came before the casting, to refind somebody who has the manic energy like Steve Carell had.

HAMMY
Oh Marty!

STEVE CARELL
Hammy is an idiot servant, without the servant ---- who’s taken two flights of fancy He is a very well intentioned, very well -meaning squirrel. He exists in a world all of his own.

HAMMY
Hey that guy isn’t coming, is he? ‘cause I don’t want to!!

STEVE CARELL
He has an extremely short attention span. And when caffeinated, that is amped up about one thousand percent.

HAMMY
HAHAAA!!! Was that out loud?

Hammy is must-funny dude, he’s just all over the place, kind of like Donkey in Shrek.

Hammy is basically a spas, he’s all over the place! You know, he’s scattered-brain... One a minute… you know, he is so huffed and the focus… The group is very patient with Hammy.

Hammy is so fast, he’s always breaking the rules of physics. So we had to remove the gravity.

HAMMY
What is THAAAT!!!

We had to think of a way to sort of indicate when he was just zipping around, sort of faster than the speed of light. And you know, what ends up in the film is just fabulous but what the audience probably doesn’t realize is, how many different techniques that we came up with to get the final one.

HAMMY
Ooooh! Huh…?

STEVE CARELL
The one thing: that squirrel is way better looking than I am. So I think the animators…

HAMMY
It never ends… It never ends that way too…!

STEVE CARELL
Kind of hot. Kind of hot. Hammy… Hammy’s gonna do OK!
